The first one is now called the Restoration House on the corner of Main Street N and 7th Street. Members cleaned, repaired, painted, wallpapered, furnished, and decorated this jewel with its long and colorful past. It is maintained and preserved as a house museum in the style of an upper middle class family living in the 1890s. The exhibits are a fascinating glimpse into how people lived at the end of the nineteenth century. The house is open to the public during the summer and by special appointment at other times. The house now has both heat as well as air conditioning.
