The City deeded our most famous building, the Opera House, to us when they could no longer care for it. Its rehabilitation was more mechanical. It looked great from the outside but the roof, the electrical, and water and heat all needed — and still needs continued – attention. Our longest and most frequent tenant is the Mantorville Theatre Company who produces eight shows each year. For more information, go to www.mantorvillain.com. But it is also available for other events too. We have had weddings and wedding receptions, graduation parties, benefits, wine tastings, musical groups, to name just a few. The Opera House is heated and air-conditioned. For more information, contact me. If the door is open, it is open to the public. If not, it is not. If you really want to see it, make an appointment. We love showing it off.
